Sutherland Farrelly have five operating divisions all dedicated to the same principles of client care and quality service delivery.

Our Real Estate Sales division enjoys an enviable reputation for its rate of sales success, particularly in the field of auctions.

We have developed unsurpassed expertise in the marketing of a diverse range of property, always endeavouring to maximise the return to our vendor through creative and carefully budgeted advertising, recommendations on the most appropriate method and timing of sale and advice on beneficial property enhancement.

A priority of the division is timely communication, with both vendors and purchasers. This is an area considered critical by Sutherland Farrelly in concluding successful real estate transactions.

A specialist staff of three qualified valuers continues a tradition of valuation expertise going back 75 years. It has been a conscious decision at Sutherland Farrelly to cultivate the expertise required to complete valuation assessments within a number of specialist property sectors.

The Property Management Department comprises dedicated staff and a quality assured system which, together with the direct involvement of the Directors of the company, ensures the service provided to our clients is of the highest standard.

A dedicated computer system controls the management process and ensures an ongoing and comprehensive review of all individual properties for timely rental and outgoing payments, lease expiry, rent reviews and maintenance issues.

The company is actively involved in leasing commercial, industrial and retail premises, always endeavouring to achieve the most favourable lease terms possible to ensure we enhance the capital value of our clients’ assets.

Experience and expertise in evaluating the quality of potential tenants is a vital ingredient to the success of our leasing division.

To meet the ever changing needs of the business community and the need for accurate and sensitive real estate advice, we have formalised our advisory and consultative services. This division continues to provide advice and consultancy services to our established clientele and also creates an opportunity for new clients to receive prompt and accurate advice on all real estate matters.

Paul commenced his real estate career in 1981 and has specialised in commercial and industrial sales, leasing and management over that period.

He is a Licensed Estate Agent and member of the Commercial Branch of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

Paul’s experience and knowledge of the industry ensures expert advice is provided to all clients.

Paul is an accomplished Auctioneer, having conducted auctions of a diverse portfolio of real estate and is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.

Paul has held the position of President of the Commercial Branch and Director of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

With over 30 years experience in property, Paul is well placed to provide outstanding professional advice in respect to a broad range of property.

Having completed a degree in Business majoring in Property, Grant has been with the company since 1989.

During this time he has enjoyed wide exposure to both the valuation and sales aspects of the business, together with his management responsibilities within the company.

In addition to his tertiary qualifications, Grant is an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, is a Licensed Estate Agent and Certified Practising Valuer.
